The longest and first six-lane concrete, high-speed, access controlled tolled expressway of India Yashwantrao Chavan Mumbai Pune Expressway constructed in March 1997 by Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation. This expressway which cost Rs 1630 crores, has reduced travel time between Mumbai-Pune to 2-3 hours.

The best expressway in India, Ahmedabad-Vadodara expressway, which is known as National Expressway 1, is one of the busiest expressway in India replacing the National Highway 8. Built at a cost of Rs.475 crores, it reduces the travel time from two and a half hours to one hour.

Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway (28 km)
