Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is harassing general people. Voters will punish them in the upcoming Assembly elections. Commented Akhilesh Yadav, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
He had attended a program organized in Delhi. He commented there to provide feedback on note cancellation. He said that Rs500 and Rs1000 note cancellation abruptly increased the suffering of ordinary people. This increased anger among the people. He added, “At the end, it seems, everybody would rely on Samajbadi Party (SaPa) due to the shortage of currency.”
In his opinion, “Government should work for the welfare of the people. It will benefit if you give the advantage of spending money. But the BJP government had done the exact opposite. They have made people to break clay jar and put out retail money.”
From midnight of November 8, cash transaction of Rs500 and Rs1000 has been canceled to prevent euphoria of black money. But Yadav claimed that was not a right process of preventing black money. Suddenly card or online payment system is not rational. He said, “Doesn’t the government know, nowadays fake debit and credit cards are being made?”
Since the beginning Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has opposed the Modi government decision. He even met the Prime Minister to talk about this. Modi, however, claimed that it hurt the interests of the rich and so the protests are being made. This decision will benefit poor people.
Akhilesh has dismissed Modi’s claim. He said, “I didn’t see a single rich person standing in Bank’s line. When key customers are in trouble, bank staffs go to their home to give advantage. Perheps, Modi government has not thought about it.”
