Tragedy played its role again with the Bansal family. BK Bansal, the former Director General Corporate Affairs who was under a CBI probe for corruption case, committed suicide with his 28 years old son at his residence in East Delhi.
Two months ago his wife and daughter committed suicide by hanging themselves from the ceiling fans at their residence.
They left two separate suicide notes. In their suicide notes they left no one responsible for their death. But they mentioned that the CBI raid caused them “great humiliation” so there was no reason to live after that.
The house maid found Mr. Bansal and his son dead at around 8:40 am on Tuesday. He hanged himself in his wife’s room and his son Yogesh in his sister’s room.
BK Bansal was the Director General in the Corporate Affairs Ministry. On 16th July, CBI arrested him for allegedly taking Rs. 9 lakh bribe from a pharmaceutical company. According to CBI, they found 20 property papers, details of 60 bank accounts and Rs. 60 lakh in cash.
His wife Satyabala (58) and daughter Neha (27) hanged themselves two day’s after Mr. Bansal’s arrest.
Neighbors said that it was a routine for the Bansals to spend hours at the CBI office. In their suicide note they also alleged CBI harassment. The father and son’s suicide notes were found in different rooms like his wife and daughter’s.
