Seriously, a lot can happen over coffee. In an awful incident, cockroaches have found inside a refrigerator of a leading coffee chain, a Cafe Coffee day outlet at Hawamahal in Jaipur. The worst is a female staff of the outlet slapped the customer who was capturing the incident.
A law student Arpan Verma tried to filming the incident, showing cockroaches inside a refrigerator of that outlet.
The video has gone viral on Twitter. The video showing the woman staff walking towards Verma and slapped him.
CCD tweeted they will take action against it. “We will take the required action without compromising in our endeavour to deliver quality products and services to our patrons.”
It said, “We have escalated the recent issue at our Jaipur outlet and are in talks with the consumers and the internal team to ascertain facts.”

In the meantime, Coffee Day Enterprises (CDE) which runs CCD said the board will meet later this week to consider raising up to Rs 150 crore through issuance of NCDs.
The CDE said the raised amount will be used for “replacing debt”.
CDE said in a BSE filing, “The meeting of Board of Directors of the company is scheduled to be held on Thursday, March 30, 2017…to consider the issuance of rated redeemable, secured, un-listed non-convertible debentures for an amount not exceeding Rs 150 crore.”
“The above mentioned issue of NCDs is for the purpose of replacing the existing debt.”
