India Is On High Alert Ahead Of Republic Day; Pakistani Terrorists May Enter India Using Afghan Passport

Two days before the Republic day, the country is on the high alert. As per the ‘Times Now’ report, terrorists are planning to attack the country. Ahead of January 26, security in Delhi and NCR, especially at Rajpath has been strengthened.

Intelligence report suggested the terrorists are planning to attack on Thursday. They in an Afghan get up have tried to use Afghan passports to enter India.

According to sources, Pakistan’s infamous Inter-Service Intelligence (ISI) is trying to create tensions between India and Afghanistan.

The agencies got aware about the plan when they interrogated two Afghan youth who travelled to India last year.

Sources said the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) got information that this is ISI’s strategy to recruit Pakistan-Afghani nationals and send them India to organize a terror attack.

The intelligence and security forces have conducted a fresh recce of the sensitive areas. The Special Protection Group (SPG) chief asked the security forces to search all the buildings within 2.5 km radius of Rajpath.

Earlier, the intelligence agencies had received information that the terror groups were planning a Nice style lone-wolf attack on the Republic Day.

They also got to know that terror outfits including Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Hizbul Mujahideen, Indian Mujahideen and Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) plotting to launch terror attacks at the same time in various parts of the country.

Meanwhile, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of UAE Sheikh Mahamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the chief guests of this year’s Republic Day celebrations, is likely to come to India today on a three-day visit.

Tomorrow the prince will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Hyderabad House in Delhi where they will exchange the agreements. After that, he will meet Vice President Hamid Ansari at hotel Leela Palace and then with President Pranab Mukherjee at the Rashtrapati Bhawan. After witnessing the Republic Day parade on Thursday he will return to Abu Dhabi.
