Just after 3 days of the mother-daughter gang rape in Bulandsahr, three men raped a 19 year old private school teacher just 200 km away in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh near National Highway 24 on Tuesday morning.
The woman took a tempo around 7 am and got off from the car on the Bareilly-Delhi National Highway-24, about 3km away from the school. She walked about 1 km towards the school, when a car stopped near her, and three men forcefully dragged her into the vehicle.
They took her at a secluded place about 2 km away in Bareilly district’s industrial area where two of them raped her for over an hour and one recorded the rape. Later they dropped her at the same spot where they had picked her up from. They intimidated her to post it on social media if she would tell anyone about the incident.
However, not afraid of the threat she went to the local CB Gung police station with her family and complained the rape. A police investigation team visited the spot. Accused are yet to be found.
In an instant damage control exercise, Inspector General (Bareily zone) Vijay Singh Meena suspended CB Gung police station Inspector Rajesh Singh, police said.
The DIG said, “We hope there are CCTV cameras installed in the industrial area. The footage would help us trace the criminals.”
From Bulandshahr to Bareilly, nothing changes in Uttar Pradesh
