
“A picture is worth a thousand words” – every photograph has some story, you just need to understand it. The ‘Dwimatrik’ has taken the initiative to tell some stories through their lens.
Suryodoy Banerjee, Bandana Ray, Debiprasad Ray, Parthasarathi Roy and Samit Biswas these five photography lovers have tried to spread their art through a photography exhibition at Gaganendra Shilpa Pradarshashala, Rabindra Sadan.
The exhibition started on January 18 and will end on January 22. The photo lovers or those who just want to find a story in a picture can be a part of this exhibition from 2 pm to 8 pm.
The exhibition was inaugurated by eminent poet Subodh Sarkar. Renowned photographer Sri Hirak Sen and eminent artist Sri Sudip Banerjee was also present there. Senior professor of Calcutta University Nabinananda Sen helped them to organise the whole thing.
Well-known painter Jogen Chowdhury visited the Pradarshashala to see the photographs and praised their works.
