Samsung Group Chief Arrested For Corruption Charges


Jay Y. Lee, Samsung Group chief arrested for corruption charges. There has been multiple charges, corruption, and scandal against Lee for long time.

 48-year-old Lee is the South Korea’s richest man. He was arrested on Friday and kept in Seoul Detention Centre. He was questioned there overnight.

He has been kept in the prison cell where there is nothing except a desk and a television set.

The most serious charge against Lee was that he allegedly affected the President of the country by bribing.

Samsung’s global market share has fallen 0.2 percent after his arrest. Lee said that he was arrested on false allegation. Samsung group in a press statement said that the company will endeavor to discover the truth.
